Maldives – case study of rising sea levels

You will also need to know the reasons behind sea level rise. These briefly are:

  1. Melted water from the ice caps flowing into the sea
  2. Melted water from glaciers flowing into the sea
  3. “Thermal Expansion: when the water warms it expands

All these three causes are themselves created by Global Warming
